This instrument allows measuring the viscosity of fluids such as oil, paint, adhesive, and other industrial products, as well as products in the foodstuff industry etc. during the manufacturing process, for quality control purposes. The fluid to be measured is filled into a cylindrical container, and a rotor turning at a constant speed is immersed in the fluid. The viscous resistance (torque) acting on the rotor is measured and indicated on a scale. The product is available in a version for low viscosity (VT-05) and high viscosity (VT-06) measurements.
